Inventory Manipulation and Reporting
Inventory data for a Customer can consist of
whole loads of logs and/or individually tagged logs. The Customer is allowed to develop
"Bundles" (groupings of logs or loads) and store them in the system. This is
done by providing the raw data to the Bureau, or the Customer recording the data with a
bar code reader and sending the data to the Bureau. After the data is "bundled",
it can be retrieved for reporting purposes.
The Inventory reporting is always in the form of a
"Certificate". These Certificates are labeled as an "Memorandum". The
format of the Certificate is the same as for Original Scale Certificates and the same
back-up reports may be produced.
Inventory data is retained in the system until the Customer requests a
Memorandum and indicates the data reported has been removed from inventory.
